Another flawless adaptation; this time Shakespeare’s Taming of The Shrew is translated into the High School milieu. Joseph Gordon Levitt makes his transition to film from 3rd Rock From the Sun, and Heath Ledger rises to stardom. This movie is perfection. Also, is this not the most beautiful high school you’ve ever seen???
The first time I saw this, the Shakespeare freak inside of me had a heart attack. Now, I just laugh. Hard.
