3. Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, 1997
This movie taught me so much about what to expect from High School and after. Romy and Michele learn that they don’t have to change their lives to impress anyone else. You don’t impress people for inventing Post Its; you impress them by wearing kick ass outfits and doing an amazing interpretive dance to Time After Time. I cannot wait for my 10 year high school reunion, because I hope that it will be half as awesome as this one. Also, this movie taught me the best way to get rid of a dude hitting on you in a club.

This film is a flawless adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma that encapsulates the life of a spoiled teenage girl. I could quote this movie backwards and forwards, and I do quite often. And, no, I don’t watch this movie sporadically.

1. Can’t Hardly Wait, 1998
This will always be one of my favorite movies. This film started my love affair with Seth Green and made me yearn for the days when I’d attend an epic high school parties. It never actually happened for me (only awkward Drama Club parties and stoner hangouts), but this movie captured the end of high school spirit everyone hopes to have.
**Bonus points for the copious amount of BTVS cast member cameos.**
